    About Harmony Chiropractic Center

Dr. Bryan D. Royer has been practicing chiropractic medicine in the Toledo area since 2005. He graduated summa cum laude as the class salutatorian from the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in 2004. Dr. Royer graduated from a post-graduate program in functional neurology, a clinical field that can help improve the quality of life for those patients with movement disorders, traumatic brain injuries, vertigo and dizziness among other problems. He went on to earn his Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB), which certifies him as a functional neurologist. He was the first functional neurologist in the Toledo area. Dr. Royer also took classes in sports medicine from the current Medical Director of the US Olympic Committee and achieved his Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) credentials. He has been certified in Graston Technique and in Kinesio Taping as well. He has taken extensive post-graduate classes in clinical nutrition and impairment ratings for disability evaluation. Since chiropractic school, Dr. Royer has had an interest in “the wellness of the whole individual, not just being a back doctor.” He focuses on musculoskeletal problems in his practice but also enjoys helping people with nutritional deficits and allergy problems. He is also trained to be able to perform electrodiagnostic studies to include Nerve Conduction Velocity testing and needle Electromyography, which is used to diagnosis nerve problems like weakness, numbness/tingling, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome or sciatica. Dr. Royer recently became certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Level 1, which is a movement based diagnostic system and provides healthcare professionals with an efficient and systematic tool to reach a comprehensive movement diagnosis regarding stability and/or motor control dysfunctions as well as mobility dysfunctions.
